Accommodation
Accommodation for Bachelor's students (IBA)
The International Office of VU University Amsterdam is able to provide accommodation for short-stay foreign IBA-students. After the first year, students can apply for another year of accommodation.
Students usually have their own bedroom.in the Netherlands. In most cases, bathroom, kitchen and living room must be shared with other students. It is common that men and women students live together in the same student house.
Furnished single rooms can be reserved in one of our student dorms with shared shower and toilet. Please note, that the number of available rooms and apartments is limited, so accommodation cannot be guaranteed for everyone. Nevertheless, VU University Amsterdam will do its utmost to find suitable accommodation for new arrivals.
A room reservation form will be sent to you after you have been admitted to one of our Bachelor's programme IBA and payment of the guarantee deposit (see Application procedure for students with an international preliminary education). In order to improve your chances of obtaining accommodation via the International Office, you are strongly advised to apply well in advance. The International Office strongly recommends you to check the rules and regulations first.
If you have any questions about the accommodations or the rules and regulations, please contact the contact person for accommodation at the faculty.
All prices mentioned are subject to change, you cannot derive a right from these prices.
Please be sure you first check the rules and regulations!
