Amsterdam University College is a joint venture between VU University Amsterdam and University of Amsterdam.

The AUC student

As a typical AUC student, you have a good brain, broad interests, international orientation, strong motivation and commitment, a lot of energy, you work hard, and you care about your environment and about society in general. Your interests cross the boundaries of subjects, cultures and languages. You want to contribute to the debate on important scientific and social questions, preferably at an international level. In short, you want to make a difference!

The AUC campus

AUC students live and study together on our modern international campus, located near the Science Park Amsterdam. The academic buildings are located in the beautiful Plantage area of Amsterdam, east of the city centre.

After AUC

As an AUC graduate you will be qualified for further study at graduate level (Master and PhD) in major research universities in the Netherlands and abroad, or to pursue a career in international corporate or public organisations.
