International Business Administration
Looking to the future
You are eager to meet people from different parts of the world, with different backgrounds, perspectives and with different aims in life. You want to excel in your studies while enjoying the social aspects of university life. You are keen to understand more about approaches to organizing under a wide variety of circumstances and in various regions of the world.
Continuing your studies
Graduating from this programme means you have earned the title of Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business Administration. Our faculty offers you a broad range of options for continuing your studies after you have completed your Bachelor’s. For example, you can take our Master’s in Business Administration, which offers seven different specializations: Management Consulting, Strategy and Organization, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Information and Knowledge Management, Financial Management, and Transport and Supply Chain Management. You can also enter other Master’s programmes offered by our faculty such as Marketing or Economics, depending on the electives you selected during your Bachelor’s programme.
Entering the labour market
You might also choose to enter the labour market. The fields where you can find work are very broad. You are most likely to find work in any kind of organization that manages processes or that works on performance improvements. You could work in the for-profit or non-profit sector, for a company providing services or products, for a small or large organization, either on the owner-side or on the organization-side of the business. You could find work in strategy consulting, management consulting or HR consulting, helping organizations improve their performance. Some people become retail marketing managers while others aim for a position at a bank or financial institution, where they manage business processes or finance.
Your own business
The IBA programme is also an excellent springboard for those who want to start their own business and who wish to gain a more thorough understanding of organizations, business principles and their underlying structure.
