The Master’s in Biology is a two-year programme, offered full-time. In addition to lectures and seminars, there are a large number of compulsory practicums and excursions.

The Masters’ in Biology consists of:

  • Three compulsory courses (each year)
  • Two research projects
  • One literature survey

Literature survey

The literature survey is a key component of this programme. You carry out independent research into the literature on a biology topic of your choice, under the personal supervision of a tutor.
