Composing your own programme
You can compose your own Master’s programme in consultation with the examination board. You can choose from the full range of health science subjects or subjects from other programmes and faculties. Naturally, the subjects you choose must be compatible with the Health Sciences programme. And even within the standard specializations, one-third of the curriculum consists of optional subjects. This enables you to realize your own personal profile.
International opportunities
The Department of Health Sciences has a solid international network. Through these contacts, you will be able to study in Denmark or Germany or embark on a student placement in countries such as Guatemala, Chile, South Africa and the United States, or even at the World Health Organization in Geneva.
Internship
Half of your Masters’ education (5 months) will consist of an internship. This allows you to put your newly acquired knowledge into practice, to obtain a good impression of your future field of action and to gain valuable experience.
