Marilieke Engbers is programme director of 'Cognition and Communication in Boards' and also teaches 'Strategy Realisation' at the postgraduate Finance and Control Programme, both at Executive Education of the School of Business and Economics of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She completed her PhD at the Amsterdam Business Research Institute (ABRI), researching 'how the unsaid shapes decision making processes in boards'.
Marilieke is co-owner and management consultant of a consultancy firm specialising in leadership development, complex change processes, strategy implementation, double loop learning, conflict management, coaching and theatrical interventions. She is active in all sectors and government agencies.
