Artificial Intelligence

Career prospects

At present, almost all AI graduates find a job relevant to their degree within a few months of leaving the university. They can find work in a range of professions, both managerial and technical. The kind of work you are likely to go into depends very much upon your chosen specialization. If you have taken Organizational Dynamics and Self-Organization, for example, then organizational consultancy could be for you. The Cognitive Science specialization might lead to a career in human factor design or applied human-computer interaction. An Intelligent Internet Applications specialization means that you will probably not have to wait long before being snapped up by business or the public sector.

Other examples of jobs:

  • knowledge and information manager
  • information analyst
  • application developer
  • website builder
  • software developer
  • web designer
  • Academic careers

A Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence is also a geat springboard to further research work as a PhD student at a university or specialist institute.
