Are you interested in politics within an increasingly globalized world? Do you want to study the environment and the changing climate from a political perspective? Do you want to become an expert on the development and dynamics of the European political systems and governance institutions? Or are you more interested in the relation between political institutions and the development of policy at the (sub) national level?
In our Masters Programme Political Science we offer four specializations to choose from: International Relations and Transnational Governance, Comparative and European Politics, Global Environmental Governance and Policy and Politics (see below).
In this full time and intensive programme we start from a solid common base in Political Science and gradually encourage students to become more and more specialised in one of these tracks to finally write a master thesis based on an individually conducted empirical research.
The Masters programme is relatively small scale, which makes the classes personal and intensive. There are no exams. Instead you will get many individual and group assignments and be required to actively participate in class. You will be supervised and lectured by internationally oriented scholars and inspired by you co-students from all over the world.
