The regular opening times of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam buildings are:

Main building
Monday to Friday: 07:00 to 23:00
Saturday: 08:00 to 18:00
Sunday: 10:00 to 18:00
Holidays: 10:00 to 18:00
Closed: 25 December 2017 - 1 January 2018

The seating area of the restaurant may be used for study purposes during regular opening hours.

In the two weekends prior to the exams open until 10 pm. These weekends the study and computer areas of the University Library at the Main Building will also be open until 10 pm.

The Medical Library will be open on a number of Sundays in 2017
