The university will seek to cooperate more widely with other organizations in the area of diversity policy. Specifically, in addition to the institutions mentioned previously, it is the intention to create new partnerships with organizations in the immediate environment of the university, such as local government, the police, healthcare institutions, the private sector, and the Foundation for Refugee Students - the UAF.

There is also a close partnership with the Expertise Centre for diversity in Higher Education, ECHO. We wish to create commitment to qualitative targets on diversity and participation within a knowledge network for diversity and higher education issues. Furthermore, it is the intention of the Ministry of Education and the Inspectorate of Education to incorporate diversity into audits and performance agreements. These will not relate exclusively to cultural diversity, but will also address gender balance issues, staff and students with disabilities, and LGBT groups.
