Opening hours University Library

Below are the regular opening hours of the University Library, study halls and service desk. The adjusted opening hours for the summer period are listed at the bottom of the page.

Regular opening hours

Service desk and consultation room + study places (1st floor) 

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 10:00 pm
  • Saturday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Sunday before exam week: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Special Collections (1st floor)

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Other study places (3rd to 14th floor wing B)

  • Monday to Saturday: 8:00 am - 10:30 pm
  • Sunday before exam week: 8:00 am - 10:30 pm

Medical Library (Amsterdam UMC)

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Adjusted opening hours summer period

Service desk and consultation room + study places (1st floor) 

  • Saturday 27 June to Sunday 30 August: Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 5.00 pm
  • Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Extra Sunday opening on 21 June from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Medical Library (Amsterdam UMC)

Closed: Monday 29 June to Friday 28 August
