Collaboration in Ede

The Bospoort neighbourhood in Ede is one of the two neighbourhoods involved in the SamenWelZijn project. Together with residents, residents' initiatives, care, welfare and municipal professionals, we find out how well-being in the neighbourhood can be strengthened through connection, and what is needed to be a caring and involved neighbourhood.

A warm and involved neighbourhood is important for everyone's well-being! But how and what can residents, local initiatives, and professionals do to help each other out? How can residents, local initiatives, and professionals shape a 'warm' and caring Bosoort together? What does this mean for the roles everyone takes in the neighbourhood? And how well might the existing intervention Welzijn op Recept (Well Being on Recipe) fit into this?

We are tackling these questions with residents and professionals in a series of working sessions that take place in two phases:

  • In the first phase, we explore the strengths of the neighbourhood with residents and professionals and how to nurture these strengths together.
  • In a second phase, starting in summer 2025, we zoom in on what that means for strengthening well-being in the neighbourhood. In doing so, we will also look at the existing intervention Welzijn op Recept (Welfare on Recipe).

Taking off in Bospoort - Ede!

Work session #1 on 18 October 2024: Together for a caring Bospoort

During the workshop on 18 October 2024, in the Boshoek at Careander, we creatively set to work. We brought together experiences around the neighbourhood's strengths and values and how they can be reinforced. A live artist drew the outcomes of the conversations on the 'Forces of Bospoort' poster. You can read a short report on the meeting here.
