Health-related quality of life

The impact of overweight and obesity on children's physical health and psychosocial health can be significant.

Children that have obesity or are overweight can experience both physical and psychosocial problems. Support and care thus focus on nutrition, exercise and behaviour change, as well as on health-related quality of life. Care for Obesity therefore develops and researches how to improve health-related quality of life and what support and guidance is needed to do so. In addition, the research group supports professionals and organisations in integrating measurement and discussion of health-related quality of life into their working methods. The scientific articles are written in English. Please note that most of the other sources are in Dutch, unless stated otherwise.
