VU University Amsterdam makes use of remarketing cookies and pixels, that are used for activities regarding Bachelor’s and Master’s programme recruiting. A cookie is a tiny code fragment embedded in specific pages, the purpose of which is to compile a remarketing list on the basis of a cookie ID. These cookies make it possible to display targeted advertising via the Google ad network, on other websites affiliated to the Google display network. The use of social media pixels allows us to show our visitors the most relevant ad content on social media channels.
