Education is a collaborative experience: it's built with your students, colleagues and faculty. Together you exchange knowledge, solve problems and look for ways to improve education even further.
However, in your daily practice you may not get around enough to reflect with colleagues on the challenges you face in your education and/or personal development. Do you also feel the need for more connectivity with colleagues, to learn from and with each other, experiment, exchange experiences and get inspired?
Then join one of the education communities the CTL provides for anyone who wants to engage in personal and professional development together with peers.
We currently facilitate the following communities:
- Incubator for junior lecturers
The place to be at VU Amsterdam for junior lecturers from all faculties to meet and inspire one another, swap experiences and develop further as experts in education. - Peer Consultation Groups for teachers (page is in Dutch)
In these groups you can meet six times (once every 6-8 weeks) to gain inspiration, reflect together and learn more about educational issues. There are groups for teachers with a UTQ, with an STQ and for programme directors.
