How does the Study Inspirator work?

First, we ask you a few questions to get to know you better. For example: which subjects did you choose at school, which classes do you enjoy, and what is your absolute dream job? After that, you will be presented with a series of statements, such as “Do you enjoy being creative?”, “Are you interested in thinking about the economy?”, “Would you like to travel for work?” or “Would you like to start your own business?” 

Don’t think too long about the questions – go with your first instinct and gut feeling. Based on your answers, we will then provide you with a top five list of programmes that might be a great fit for you. In the results, you will also immediately see which programmes are related to your top 5 and are therefore fun to investigate further.

When should you use the Study Inspirator?

• If you’re not sure where to start when looking for programmes that suit you. Whether you still have some time to decide, are in your final year and about to take your final exams or are looking for a bachelor’s for another reason.
• If you’re interested in a wide range of subjects – from Law to Philosophy and everything in between – and want to know which programmes really match what you’d like to do in the future. 
• If you want to explore the full range of degree programmes at VU and find out which of them suits you best. 
• If you’re a parent who wants to help your child explore which degree programmes could be a good match. (Encourage them to try the Inspirator themselves, though!)
