Strategic partnership as a starting point

Professionalization for Executives and Internal Supervisors of Healthcare Institutions, Housing Corporations, Educational Institutions, and Other (Semi-)Public Sector Organizations

Supervision is a profession that requires continuous professionalization, particularly in how executives and internal supervisors relate to and interact with each other. Supervision is more than merely monitoring from a distance whether the executive is performing well. Executives need supervisors who challenge them, engage in critical discussions, and help sharpen their strategic thinking.

During the Governance & Supervision Program, the latest insights and developments in public governance and the strategic partnership between executives and supervisors will be explored. This program is based on research and best practices. With top lecturers from VU Amsterdam, such as Prof. Dr. Tjerk Budding and Emeritus Prof. Dr. Ir. Rienk Goodijk, as well as guest speakers from the sector, participants will work through real-life cases and governance dilemmas, applying them to their own practice. Each session is designed to allow ample room for discussion and experience sharing.

This programme is completely taught in Dutch. For more information, please consult our Dutch website.
