As of July 1, 2026, VU Amsterdam will be partnering with the catering company Vitam. Sustainable, healthy, and diverse.
Vitam offers meeting packages and living room packages, as well as coffee and tea for groups of 15 or more. Please see the attached overview of the packages and delivery locations:

Ordering
- VU employees with a VUnetID can order catering through the service portal.
- Student and academic associations, as well as external tenants without a VUnet ID, can order via the Vitam order page. You can request the login code required for this by email: vu.hg@vitam.nl.

New: Pickup is now also available!
- Pickup location:
Room number HG KC-30 (the coffee kitchen near the entrance to the Main Building Restaurant in the basement). - Vouchers via the service portal
Through the service portal, you can order vouchers that can be used for catering on the VU campus. You can bring your vouchers to the pickup location: room number HG KC-30. - Packaging
When picking up your meal packages, we use eco-friendly disposable items that fully comply with current SUP legislation. This way, we keep the pickup process both convenient and sustainable.
Living Room Packages in the Pantries
- Available for groups of 10 or more.
- No need to reserve a pantry.
Meeting packages
- Also available for groups of fewer than 10 people.
- In meeting or event rooms that you can reserve yourself in advance (Delivery Locations).
- Delivery preferably between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
- Not available at your own workspace or meeting location.
Coffee and tea
- For groups of 15 or more people (for groups of fewer than 15 people, please use the regular coffee machine).
- In meeting or event rooms that you can reserve in advance (Delivery Locations).
- Not available at your own workspace or meeting location.
