In the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities agreements have been made about facilitating hybrid working.
Employees with an employment contract in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement therefore receive a contribution towards internet costs of € 25 per month net, regardless of the working time factor. VU Amsterdam expects you to ensure a properly functioning internet connection.
The internet allowance is separate from commuting days and working-from-home days. Neither have any effect on the amount of the internet allowance. The internet allowance is also paid to you if you travel to VU Amsterdam every working day, provided that you are entitled to the internet allowance under the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities. Payment of the internet allowance will only take place if you have completed the commuting statement via the self-service option Commuting statement.
The following are excluded from the internet allowance:
- On-call workers
- Student assistants
- Trainees
