Keuzegids Masters 2021 is available

A number of master's programmes at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam score above average in the Keuzegids Masters 2021. Master's students judge their own master's programme on criteria such as academic education, programme, supervision and studyability.

A number of master's programmes at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam score above average in the Keuzegids Masters 2021. Master's students judge their own master's programme on criteria such as academic education, programme, supervision and studyability.

The master's programmes in Tax Law (Fiscaal Recht) and Business Law (Ondernemingsrecht) are assessed as above average. The master's programme Finance also received a high score.

Master's students who follow the Humanities master's programme also give the master's an above-average assessment. The Humanities students are particularly positive about the lecturers, the supervision and the challenge in education. In the Philosophy master students are also enthusiastic about the challenging education offered by their programme.

The master's in Communication Studies scores above average for scientific education and in the master's in Social and Cultural Anthropology the students are very satisfied with the challenge in education and the internationalisation of the master's.

On the other side of the campus, the Earth Sciences and Hydrology master's programmes are assessed above average by the students. Amongst the master's programmes for professionals, the master's programme in Epidemiology scores above average on all components of the assessment.

Corona
Each year, the Keuzegids is partly based on the National Student Survey (NSE). However, there was no National Student Survey in 2020 due to the corona crisis. The Keuzegids has therefore used the results and assessments from the 2019 NSE.
