The Netherlands has a lot more to offer than Amsterdam alone of course. Time to explore the rest of our tiny country! On this Saturday you will have the opportunity to join us for various trips outside of our capital. We offer various programmes both in the morning and afternoon. On Saturday 10 July you can join us for:
A morning visit to a cheesefarm
Cheeselovers unite! In the morning we will cycle through the Forest of Amsterdam to a cheesefarm. Here we will see how Dutch farmers cheese is made, will have a tasting session and even make our own cheese! Costs are €15 including the guided tour, coffee and a slice of Dutch apple pie.
A Daytrip to the National Park and Museum Kröller-Müller
The Netherlands might not be famous for our wildlife, but we actually do have stunning national parks around the country. We will visit one of these parks where we will have lunch and cycle around the beautiful heather fields. In addition, we will visit the museum inside the park: the Kröller-Müller museum which has the second largest collection of paintings from Van Gogh, but also pieces painted by Monet, Seurat, Picasso and Mondriaan and a garden full of interesting modern sculptures. All pieces and sculptures were privately collected by the famous Kröller-Müller couple between 1907 and 1922. All in all, a unique experience combining nature, architecture and art. We will leave in the morning and will be back in the late afternoon. Costs are €65 including the trip there and back, lunch, entrance to the park, museum and museum garden.
