Linda van de Burgwal is an academic entrepreneur at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with experience in research, teaching and consulting in the health and life sciences. Linda holds a cum laude master's degree in management and entrepreneurship in the health and life sciences and is professionally trained as a consultant in strategic development.
She also obtained her PhD cum laude from VU Amsterdam for her research on the social impact of knowledge in life sciences. Her research interests focus on the interactions that enable stakeholders, and innovative entrepreneurs in particular, to realise a broad societal impact of knowledge.
Linda is involved in several national and international projects on knowledge valorisation in life sciences industries. Linda also teaches masters students with a background in biomedical sciences about social entrepreneurship.
