Registration deadlines
You can register for courses within the registration period of the relevant period.
- Courses: Up to 4 weeks before the start of the course*
- Exams: up to 4 weeks before the start of the course**
- Resits: Up to 1 week before the (re)exam (provided that the course is registered for)

Period 1: up to and including the1st week of the period in which the course starts
Period 4: up to three weeks prior to the period in which the course starts

Period 4: up to three weeks prior to the period in which the course starts
Registration is possible until 23:59 on the last day of the period.
Registering for exams
When you register for a course, you are automatically registered for the examination.
- The registration deadline for examinations is the same as that for the course.
- The deadline is a few weeks before the start of the course.
Please note: Outside the registration period, it is no longer possible to register for an examination if you did not register on time for the course (section).
Registering for resits
- Do you have a fail (or NVD)? Then you will automatically be registered for the resit.
- Did you get a No Show or a pass? Then you have to register yourself.
You can register from the day after the exam date or as soon as the results are known, until 1 week before the re-exam date.
Example: For a re-exam on Friday 22 December, you can register until 23:59 on Friday 15 December.
⚠ Please note:
- The last result obtained counts, even if it is lower than your previous grade.
- Not participating after registration = No Show, but your previous result will stand.
- Outside the registration period, registration is no longer possible if you were not previously registered for the course (section).
