Parking at VU Amsterdam

Access to the VU campus is restricted for motor vehicles. You can park in the car parks in and around the campus, or on public roads in the area.

The website parkerenbijvu.nl contains comprehensive information on the parking policy at VU Amsterdam and Amsterdam UMC, VUmc location, on parking fees, and on how to apply for a parking pass. It also lists all of the available parking and Kiss&Ride options. This comes in very handy when business associates are coming to visit and you need to direct them to the nearest parking space. A number of parking spaces are available for people with a disability.

Up-to-date information about the accessibility of VU Amsterdam (traffic diversions, public transport, etc.) can be found on the Accessibility page.

Only our preferred suppliers are authorized to load and unload vehicles within the grounds of VU Amsterdam. Other vehicles are only allowed access to the grounds on request. Applications should be submitted via FCO Service desk, at least one day in advance. Drivers should proceed to the barrier at the entrance to the campus square and report via the intercom. Alternatively, they can operate the barrier using a pass that has the requisite permissions.

For more information, go to parkerenbijvu.nl.
