During the day, 3D is the dialogue stage of the VU where talks take place on topics like diversity, inclusion and social issues that affect our academic community. In the evenings, 3D turns into VU Amsterdam's community center, with 'Life is Better in 3D'.

3D's target group consists of students and employees of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Together with them, programmes and events are organised.

Life is Better in 3D

In the evenings, 3D turns into VU Amsterdam's community center, with 'Life is Better in 3D'.

Piano rehearsal

3D has a piano available for private rehearsal, for VU students and staff only. Book your 30 minute time slot and play away!

House rules

  • Be on time - the front door will be opened for you as long as you are on time
  • No eating or drinking anywhere in 3D during rehearsal hours
  • You can bring a friend, but don't use the room to party
  • Please double check if you can make it to your chosen time slot
  • If you want to cancel, please reply to the confirmation email
