How do you design and develop an environmentally friendly hydrogen car or wind turbine? In the Mechanical Engineering program, you work on high-tech solutions for the future.

During Mechanical Engineering at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam you will be looking for inventive technical solutions to the problems of today. The bachelor is a joint programme of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and technical University of Twente. You study Mechanical Engineering in Amsterdam with Twente's high-tech labs at your disposal for practical assignments and projects. You will learn to develop inventive solutions - clean energy, medical technology, an earthquake-proof bridge: you can design it!

  • Joint programme from technical University Twente and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
