Machine learning, artificial intelligence, and digital currencies are rapidly transforming the finance industry. This honours programme aims to provide you with a competitive edge in this fast-evolving landscape. In addition to the comprehensive topics covered in the regular MSc Finance, you will deepen your understanding and skillset through specialized courses on coding (in Python), machine learning, data mining, algorithmic trading, fintech and digital currencies. The additional training equips you with highly sought-after skills in coding and modelling, enabling you to excel in the financial industry.

The Honours Programme Finance and Technology is a special track within the MSc Finance. Our MSc Finance is ranked in the Financial Times Masters in Finance Ranking and has been a top ranked programme according to the National Student Survey (NSE) for several years. Furthermore, the MSc Finance has been voted the most popular Master in The Netherlands by employers in 2023.

Master Your Finance Future

This honours programme is an ambitious investment in your future. It provides you with supplementary training that goes beyond traditional finance. The study load is 84 EC compared to the regular 60 EC. You will acquire a highly sought-after skillset in coding and modelling that provides you with a competitive edge compared to your peers in the regular finance programme. The honours programme has numerous links with the financial district of the Netherlands, the Zuidas, which is right around the corner.
