Dutch for work and study - evening course in 6 modules

With the course 'Dutch for work and study' you will learn to speak, write, read and listen to level B2 (ERK) at an average pace.

Highlights of the course

  • For beginners and advanced learners
  • Choice of six modules, from A1 to B2
  • Starts four times a year
  • Eight weeks of lessons per module
  • Classes twice a week in the evening
  • Around 5-7 hours of independent study per week
  • Focus on speaking and listening skills
  • Personal coaching
  • Introduction to Dutch culture, society, politics and traditions

Is your first language is German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Afrikaans and would you like to learn Dutch quickly and at a high level alongside your work or studies?
Check out the Language course Dutch towards A2 (SPRINT). The course is identical to Dutch for work and study, but the pace is twice as fast: you do module 1 (ERK level 0-A1) and module 2 (A1-A2) in 8 weeks instead of 16 weeks.

Are you a VU student?
Especially for VU students there is Basic Dutch on Campus. With the evening course 'Basic Dutch on Campus' you will learn how to introduce yourself, do some shopping, order a meal and have a chat with students and teachers.
