A variety of student jobs may be published on VU Studentjobs. It is meant for positions at the university with a temporary appointment, for example jobs in the faculty student council; the board of a student association; or student buddies. Positions at the university or Positions at organizations on the VU campus, such as the Spar or the Living, will also be published. We do not publish vacancies for student jobs that are not requested by a VU colleague or do not take place at VU. Your vacancy will be posted on the website no later than 2 weeks after submission. So, submit your vacancy 2 weeks before the desired posting date. 

Student assistants

In the past, vacancies for student assistants were regularly listed as Studentjobs. With the introduction of a new ATS, this is changing. For student-assistant vacancies, create your own in ATS. 

There is also a separate template available in ATS for internships. these will not be posted on VU Studentjobs.

Two types of vacancies and the procedure

• Student vacancy with VU appointment: Do you have a vacancy for a student job where the student will get an appointment, such as a student assistant? Then create a vacancy via the ATS (recruitment system) and contact your HR adviser for information on submission and publication.
• Is it about a part time job or project without an appointment at VU Amsterdam, but does the side job take place at the VU (e.g. Spar or Bar Boele)? Then fill out the form below. Please note, this form is only for vacancies without an employment contract with VU Amsterdam and remuneration other than salary via the Collective Labour Agreement.
  Send the completed form to studentjobs@vu.nl . Your vacancy will be published on VU Student Jobs within two weeks.
